I put it on craigslist for 300 but everyone keeps offering 250 the most. Its a 16gb white ipad excellent condition with all accessories. Im trying to buy an ipad mini or a laptop

That's about right, i'd take it and justify the price difference as your upgrade price.

well I certainly wouldn't pay $300 for a 16GB iPad 2, a used one no less. and accessories rarely add to the sales value.

On CL, if you want $300 then you have to ask for $325 minimum.

The battery has about a 3 year life cycle. So a potential buyer is looking at a $100 repair charge in 18 months +/-.

I sold my 32GB for $350. Craigslist is a tricky place, but you gotta know how to play the game. $250 isn't a bad price for a 16GB. but if you don't like the price just keep trying for a higher bite and you'll eventually get somebody. Be patient is the best advice I can give based on my experience. Throw in some cases and you'll be able to higher the price expectancy a bit. People love the original box, also.

Price is tricky!

I think it is worth $250 but if you don't need the money right away i would go for $300 or $275. I think you should wait until you get the price you wanted! I hope you like my post. Thanks and have a great day!

Just sold my 16gb wifi 2 last week on Craigs for $275 with a smart cover, case and original box.

Just sold my 16 white wifi ipad 2 the day before the mini came out for $325! I listed it at $375 OBO, well someone offered 325 and I took it and bought a mini the next day! The best thing was I bought it open box at best buy back in march for 360.... Think I did alright!

I got $320 for mine on Monday. No cases, I never include them cuz u just give them away for free in the end. Good condition w/ original box. Listed it Sunday had 2 firm offers for that price Monday. Just hold out until u get what u want

There are a lot of suckers of Craigslist (buyers). And there are a lot of greedy sellers on Craigslist who over price and hope to find a sucker or over list on purpose thinking they will be bargain down in price.

I usually get 95-100% of list price cause I price it right. I listed my perfect just replaced iPad 2 64gb wifi with 60 days left warranty for $425. Got $420.

I listed my perfect 32Gb iPhone 4S just replaced for $400 with 6 months warranty. Got $400.

I don't play games on Craigslist. I simply state I am firm on price. I say I have one of better prices on Craigslist and they can search themselves.

I sell very quick. Like within 24-48 hours.

$250-275 for iPad 2 wifi base model is very fair price if its over 18 months old. But most people on Craigslist don't ask how old the iPad is. $300 if its less than 12 months old is fair price. The battery degrades over time with each charge.

But like I said. Lots of idiots on Craigslist.

I posted in my Facebook that I might be selling my 32gb iPad 2 for $300 and I got an offer from one of my friends almost instantly!
