Reading what many people have said here/ on Reddit, it seems the broad consensus is that 26.1, albeit imperfect, is a marked improvement over its predecessor 26.0.1. But for whatever reason, that simply hasn’t been the case for me. I use a 16PM (100%BH, close to 400GB available storage, no low power mode). Since updating to 26.1, scrolling (be it across the home screen or web browsing through Safari) has been peppered with intermittent stuttering during use. I don’t know if I am in the minority but this simply wasn’t the case for me on 26.0.1. It’s been a little over 2 weeks since I’ve installed the update and throughout the fortnight, I’ve restarted the phone a handful of times to see if it fixes the issue. It’s still stuttering every now and then as I scroll through my Home Screen (almost as if Pro Motion “woke up too late” if that makes sense and not just between today view and page 1, but also between my different pages); ditto for web browsing via Safari.
