or is it just me?

I finally switched to a 3G 8GB iPhone from my original (a friend wanted my original iPhone).

The GPS is great and works well, but 3G is just worthless.

As far as voice calls and signal goes, I get full bars, which I never got with my original iPhone. That was a huge plus and I am happy about that.

But its only been 2 days since I got it and I haven't been able to use 3G for web browsing. When its on 3G, I get "Safari cannot open this page" or something like that. If I turn 3G off, everything works fine on Edge.

I knew that 3G was slow, especially at peak times, but not being able to open websites, that's lame.

I have been performing speed tests throughout the day to see if I can find out when the speeds are best, I hit 124kbps on testmyiphone.com today. Before that, I never hit 100kbps. On Edge, I can do 120-150 consistently.

So again, in the Oklahoma City area, is 3G this bad or is it just me?
