is 4.1 jailbroken yet?

i just got the download prompt thingy for 4.1 and i wanted to know if it has been jailbroken yet. also, my ipod (2g) is ridiculously slow, i assume that this would only make it worse?

As far as I know, 4.1 fixes the speed issue, (especially in the iPhone 3g), so my guess is that it will help your 2g. And 4.1 has been jailbroken, actually it was jailbroken a few hours after 4.1 release (said to be really hard for apple to fix up, being a bootrom JB or something), but the jailbreak itself has not been released. Just don't update yet, wait till JB has been released

My 2G is running fine. No, 4.1 isn't jailbroken yet. SHAtter is a project which is in development and has found a loophole from which to run a tethered jailbreak on all 4G iPhones/iPod's until Apple updates hardware. No release date.
