Sorry, I'm sure this has been asked before, but Im a newbie to unlocking and was wondering if it's possible to unlock an iphone 4 with firmware 4.2.1 on AT&T. I did a search and couldn't find anything. Even looked on the dev-team blog but don't see any mention of it.

Thanks in advance!

Unlocked is based on baseband and not firmware version. if you Iphone come from Apple directly with 4.2.1 on it, the baseband will be 03.10 which can't be unlocked at this moment.

Only baseband 01.59.00 is unlockable on the iPhone 4 right now. If you have anything other than that on a 4, you're out of luck.

Thanks guys for your help. Looks like I have baseband 3.10.01 so I'm out of luck.
