Is 7.6.1 still the most stable firmware for Airport TimeCapsule?

This is for 802.11n class Airports (flat ones..) I see we are up to 7.6.9. I've been on 7.6.1 ever since getting bitten by instability of subsequent "upgrades" (7.6.2, etc..) Does 7.6.9 inherit all the problems of those post-7.6.1 buggy "upgrades"? I guess I should follow "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" and stick with 7.6.1, but to be honest it's not been completely stable for me. I have to occasionally reboot it when backup volumes mysteriously disappear. Wondering if there is any improvement in 7.6.9. Looks like security fixes to me, so not expecting much.
