Is 7000 series Aluminum a big deal on the iPhone 6s?

Will the 7000 series Aluminum bring any marked changes to how the iPhone 6s handles wear and tear? Is it supposed to be more scratch resistant? Can folks that have used the Apple Watch weigh-in on its benefits during day to day use?

no change. the surface that gets exposed to 'day-to-day' wear is the anodized layer.
Anything that would chip the layer on the 6000 series would chip the 7000 series layer too.

the 7000 series is harder, which means harder to bend hopefully.

I have to agree and it will scratch just like the existing. Maybe a little stronger and I hear it might also be a little thicker to give more structural integrity.
