I'm trying to decide whether the extra 2GB RAM in this year Pro phones is a factor or not in my buying decision. I'm a casual user, no Final Cut or Logic Pro etc. And with my 14 Pro there are some apps that never reloads (e.g. Apples own apps), and then some apps that always reloads (e.g. Twitter and the official Reddit app). But would I actually get fewer app reloads with 2GB extra RAM? Since some apps never reloads, my thinking is that Twitter and Reddit just have crappy code and that no amount of RAM would make them not reloading? Otherwise, why would just a few of my apps reload? Apollo (RIP) never reloaded for me, and it serves the same content as the official app... I also have +100 tabs in Safari, but I don't think any of them are in memory because they all need to reload. So what is actually 8GB useful for?
