Is a 1.8" SSD work in a 13" 2011 MBP?

Some of the 1.8" seem cheaper on ebay and I was thinking maybe it was because it doesn't work in a lot of laptops. I tried goggling it, and searching this forum. I know that the bay is 2.5" but maybe the smaller one might even be a bit cooler?

And if it matters the specific one I'm looking at is the X-18 160GB 1.8" SSD.

You could make it work but its not the best idea. Performance is generally lower and you'd have to figure out how to mount it securely inside the laptop. I wouldn't recommend it.
