Interesting article on Corning's Gorilla glass - thinner, stronger and more scratch resistant than it's competitors, and flexible to boot. Invented in 1962 and only coming into it's own now. Is this the glass protecting your iPad and iPod? Corning isn't saying, but, who knows...

The iPhone 4 uses the same type of glass that Gorilla Glass is, but it isn't as durable as Corning's promises would lead you to believe, so its likely it isn't really Gorilla Glass.
