Is a MacBook Air M1 for me?

I am considering replacing my old MacBook Air from 2014 with the new MacBook Air M1. The battery does not hold up so well anymore, and I hesitate a bit between buying an Air with M1, or an Air with the "old" Intel processor. The M1 is so new, so I'm a little in doubt if it's good to buy at all now. But conversely, it's also sad to buy an Intel when you know it's only going one way with it - down, I think.

I mostly use Apple's own apps, but in addition to them I use:

• VLC
• Amphetamine
• AdGuard
• SurfShark
• NZBGet
• CleanMyMac X

Is there anyone who can confirm or know that they work on the new M1?

Hope someone can point me in the right direction.

I can't find anything on the last 3 but the first 3 should work fine.

Also could not find the last 3 on that list.
