I am running Windows 10 on Parallels on my new iMac. I have run into printer problems on some features in WordPerfect X3 (mostly with envelope printing). Printer is HP Envy Photo 7855 and I recently updated the printer driver. But my research on this envelope printing problem has led me to an HP site suggesting I download HP Smart Utility. It is for Windows 10.

Does this mean I do need this program to run on my Parallels to fix printer problems I have when running my Windows apps on Parallels?

Or will this conflict with my printer software on the actual iMac itself?

Thanks for any help.

I have tried so many things here that they seem to be canceling each other out. Trying to start from scratch, my printer is connected on my home network but when running Parallels and Windows, I cannot find the right driver. I try to run that HP Doctor app and it cannot find the printer anymore. It works fine from Mac apps, but I need to set it up right on my Windows.
I am usually pretty good at this stuff, but right now so many adjustments have been made in trying to set this up, I think I need a fresh start. I would love some specific instructions right now, to get the correct driver for his HP Envy Photo 7855 printer, to work on my Windows. (I am assuming the driver I have on my Mac side is not applying to this Windows?)
Thank you so much for any guidance here!

Update: I have resolved this issue now.
