Is Adium Logging Me In When My Air is Sleeping?

When I'm at work, my Air is sleeping on my home desk. But apparently I am logging into and out of gchat all day long. (I don't use gchat at work.) I use gchat on Adium. Is it possible that somehow my computer is waking up and so Adium is logging me in even when I'm not at my computer? Why would this be happening?
