So i have a MBP connected to a TB display and I have apple tv connected to my samsung tv

now, when I turn air play on and select the apple tv, the tv becomes the main screen.. is that supposed to happen? and there doesnt seem to be a way to change that.

I can mirror with no issues but I cannot make my TB display the main screen and the apple tv the 2nd screen.... is this normal or am I missing something.

Go into System Preferences > Displays and under the arrangement tab place your mouse cursor on the white menu bar representation above one of the displays and drag it over to the one you wish to be your primary.

(Yeah, it's not the most intuitive method of changing which display is primary. Especially now that secondary displays get their own menu bars.)
