Is airportextreme a repeater?

Two questions here
1. If I have a wireless router. Will the airport extreme catch the signal and repeat it?
2. I have 3 Macs, HP USB printer and a lynksys wifi router. Two are wireless and the G4 is ethernet. Currently to print I have to print from my G4 that the USB printer is connected to. If I buy the airport extreme can I plug in the printer to it and print from all computers? Can the G4 via ethernet port on the lynksys wireless router see the printer connected to the air extreme?

1] Yes .. it might not be as easy with the linksys as with an Apple base station but I do believe I've seen guides on setting up WDS with one .. a lot of info here: http://www.apple.com/support/airport/

2] If you can get the Linksys to see the AExp then you should be able to print ..
