If you're coming from an older design, like the iPhone 8/SE style with the home button, the amount of dust is the same, you just never noticed it before. Since the screen goes right to the edge of the phone, the dust you would normally ignore at the top of the phone is now much easier to see since there's screen/content there.

It really makes you aware of how dirty your pockets are.

Only when I'm outdoors in dusty environments - where it doesn't come as much of a surprise to me that my phone gets dusty.

Seems to accumulate dust much more quickly than the iPhone 11 and SE. (and since I work from home that’s just from sitting on the desk, I don’t put it in my pocket). I have to wipe it down twice daily with a microfiber cloth.

The screen with no protector shows way more dust. I was constantly wiping it down. Much better with a protector. I don’t know about the back because I use a case, but where the lens protrude gets really dusty. I just use a blower for that.

Which brand of protector are you using?

I don’t think my 13 Pro is any more dusty than my old 11 Pro. I’m kinda OCD so my phone and my iPad get cleaned often.

If I put my phone in my front pocket it will come out with dust pan the screen and along the top edge of the aluminum. It was this way with my 12PM as well. It’s why I hate cases cuz the dust just stays in the screen and has no where to go

I upgraded from the base 11 to 13pro, I definitely feel this phone gets more dust. Around the edge of the front screen and in the triple camera area.

For the camera bump that’d work really well. For the screen I wipe it against my sleeve and usually blow dust out of the gap between the screen and frame about once a week.

The brush works very well for the front frame to glass area. I fully endorse it. Just don’t press too hard or use a cheap brush else a bristle might get caught in gaps. 😂🇬🇧

Maybe since you are wiping the phone down, might as well wipe it down with a disinfectant wipe. Take it out of the case and wipe down both the case and phone.

Using a can of compressed air works really well to get the dust off the phone.

This also makes me glad that newer iPhones are IP68-rated. That basically means the dust won't get inside and cause problems.

I used the lens brush (Zeiss) to clean my 13 pro a week ago and got stuck between the frame and front glass, near the speaker. Had to use the tweezers to remove a thread. So be careful with this brush 😂
Indeed. In my case the gap is at the bottom of iPhone not top. Previous one was right side gap and one before that top near speaker 🤣

Oh nice.

Just a quick blow like one is trying to blow out birthday candles does the trick. I like compressed air but don’t feel like spending the money ?

I keep wanting to buy an anti-microbial case and screen protector to help with this. Problem is I don’t really care for cases or screen protectors and will likely just waste my money
