Hmm thanks for posting, it looks interesting.

Best of all, they have some darned good prizes!!!

Just read the Terms & Conditions "Contest Rules" but I can't find a clause saying that you must be in the USA... So is this compo open to non-US residents?!

yeah i've been reading them as well - no word on it so yeah

although ---

. ELIGIBILITY

The Contest is open only to individuals who are at least 18 years of age. Employees of Mozilla Corporation and their respective parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, suppliers, advertising agencies, and families, and persons living in the same household as such employees, are not eligible to participate. The Contest is subject to all national, federal, state and local laws and regulations.

and this bit on on section 9 sort of makes out that it will be USA only but it DOES NOT say anything on world wide entries:)

PRIZE

The first prize winner will receive a $5,000 gift certificate to B&H Photo and Video (ARV: $5,000). The second prize winner will receive a triple screen X-Top desktop display w/ 19" SlimLine LCDs (ARV: $5,000). The third prize winner will receive an Alienware DHs5 media center PC (ARV: $2,500). The prizes are non-transferable and no substitution by winner or cash equivalent is permitted. Sponsor may substitute prize for one of equal or greater value at its sole discretion.

The winner will be responsible for all taxes on the prize.

Yes, it seems as though its US only, but I don't see why we could not apply? It says appropriate taxes, as in the tax of your state (which for me would be UK).

i like the new logo.
I'm not sure if i should continue making my video.
My camera isn't very good quality.

edit:
and no, that is not me in the video. ;)
if it was, i would be the coolest 11 year old on the block.

i got an idea but don't have the resources.... nor the time

i hope the person(s) who win don't work for some major production studio or something... i rather have an avg. user wins...

so i have an idea on how to meet there brief

here are some rough logo's - i do not expect to win or anything but this contest should be a good learning curve for me in video filming and editing

thoughts on them ?
