Just curious if anyone is dressing up for Halloween, and if so what are you dressing up as?

My roomie is dressing up as a WoW character. I might be Daphne from Scooby-Doo (kinda lame, but I look like her so it should work).

My mother and I will be in San Francisco where dressing up for Halloween appears to be compulsory :p

Not sure what to do though as my normal pirate outfit requires room in my suitcase that I just won't have! Debating whether to just be v boring as witch since I'm sure I can buy a hat there and long black skirt and top can be worn again on holiday... Might spray my hair some bizarre colour and wear some wayout makeup to make it a little more interesting.

Halloween is HUGE at my college, so I will definitely be dressing up as a very slutty Princess (if lingere and a crown counts as dressing up....)

Yup.

I'm actually dressing up twice. :)

Once to go the LACMA Muse Costume Ball (Link), and again when I hit Santa Monica Blvd in West Hollywood on Halloween night.

I'm gonna be Super Mario. Oh, I'm still wearing the hat long after the holiday ends.

There's already been a thread on this, but I'll repost my costume anyways. I'm going to be a slutty ninja, and I'll take plenty of pics for MR :).

These days I don't even bother making the effort to carve a pumpkin!

I guess Hallowe'en is a much bigger event in America!?

I would agree with that. When I lived in London, my American friends and I would get all revved up for Halloween, while the natives seemed indifferent towards it. I'm guessing this has to do with Americans taking a break from our Puritan roots.

I think people in the UK make more of a deal about Bonfire night/Fireworks night which is the 5th November. And as the two events fall so closely together people only really bother with one of them.

Fireworks are always good :)
