Is Anyone Else Getting Massive Lint Build Up With Screen Protector

So in my weeks of trying to find the perfect case for myself, one of the sticking points I've used is whether certain cases attracts more lint or not. For the longest time, I felt that the Apple Silicone Case collected it's fair share, and so I went with a leather case. But alas that too collected dust and I moved onto the Speck Presidio Grip. That too collects dust and I just lived with it when I wondered, what if it wasn't my case but my screen protector!

So I'm using one of Spigen's tempered glass screen protectors and now I'm tempted to rip that off to see if it is indeed the culprit.

Anyone else noticing a lot of dust due to your screen protector?

Zagg, Symmetry clear case, Apple Leather Case & clean empty dress pants every day, jeans on the weekend: no lint or dust buildup.

I removed the glass protector once and and it left a thin outline that may be adhesive or minor dust build up. No biggie.

Man... I slipped on s Spigen clear case and I’m still getting lint... gotta be the protector!

I used a screen protector on my iPhone for about 10 minutes... way back with the iPhone 4... made me crazy - hated the feel and it was a lint magnet. Looks like not much has changed in over 7 years.

Exact reason I returned my apple silicone case. The lint and dust is unbearable!

I think OP is talking about the screen protector buildup. I’m thinking about just ripping my screen protector off as well. All this lint build up around the edges is so annoying!

I did the same, installed and pulled it off two days later. The lint around the notch drove me nuts

Thats gets bettter with time. I dunno why, I went through 2 silicone cases over my 3year period with iPhone 6. Lint mgnet for first month or so.. then Nada. Issue vanished.

I was using an old screen protector but then my friend showed me his iCarez edge to edge fort he iPhone X and no such lint issues and it’s awesome. I also have it paired with a speck preside grip. Awesome combo.
