You can’t—unless you have tons of disposable money. Buying one, completely mitigates the necessity for the other. I can’t see a difference between the two that warrants having both.

Im getting the 8Plus on my EE contract as an upgrade, then will be buying the 256gb X outright at launch. I paid £50 for the 8 on the same tariff that I am currently on (£67pm)

As my Fiancé is in need of a new phone, she is getting my 256gb 7plus once I get the 8plus and then will get the 8plus once the X comes out then I will sell the 7plus and my Fiancé's 6plus to put towards the cost of the X

To have gotten the X (64gb only) on the same tariff is not an option, I would have to be paying £72, £77 or £82 per month and either £99, £49 or £9 for the phone
