Is there anyone here who has their full needs met without going in to third party apps?
I'm talking word processing, email, calendar, video/audio etc....
Many issues and privacy concerns with other apps.
I'm considering a switch to native Apple apps only, but god some of them look ugly and haven't seen an edit in years and years.
Is there a brave human amongs us who does it? Except of course the guy running Macmost channel, on youtube! :)

Not I, however, I do tend to use a lot of open src stuff. Which has lots of eyes on it and generally is quite privacy respecting.

Sometimes I kinda try to switch to Apple apps because of the integration between them, but I always change mind because they miss some important features. E.g. Safari doesn't work well with some websites, so I use Brave. Mail doesn't have snoozing, so I use Spark. Reminders is too basic, so I use Todoist. Notes doesn't support Markdown and syntax highlighting, so I use Bear.

Same really, like I switch to mail, then I get an email where 1 pdf is one page, and the other is multiple pages, and I just see this monstrosity with attachment preview, and I just go back to Sparkmail......It is sad, really that a lot of native applications get so little love.

Yeah it's a shame because otherwise the integration between them is nice.
