Is anyone seeing the new CBAND network on Verizon that launched today? I think your phone will say 5Guw at the top... Not to be confused with the existing ultra wideband that was only available in very limited areas.

Yes, I saw it in Rancho Cucamonga, CA today. At home in Ontario, I do not have it. My house 2.5 miles from the Ontario airport so even though I am outside the 2 mile “exclusion zone” I suspect as far as the network management is concerned, I probably won‘t get it at home for some time.

Yeah... I'm not overly fond of them using the same designation for what was once just mmWave. There's a big difference in these c-band speeds of 0.5-1.5 Gbps and mmWave of 3+ Gbps. Granted, Verizon's regular "5G" speeds are crap.

I see it here in utah, but there is no internet connection. I have full bars, it says 5G U/W but I don't have internet at all. Nothing loads. I reset my network settings, rebooted phone, Still nothing. Zero internet when connected to that. LTE is fine, that works

I’m seeing 5Guw more often and when running Speedtest the results are jaw dropping. Never thought I’d see these speeds! On Verizon with 13 Pro Max

I have noticed it often when I am out in West Des Moines, or Ankeny, but there are spots that not a chance. The coverage is spotty and of course inside my home which is about 2 miles from one of the spots where the phone shows 5G, not even 2 bars on 4 G.
