iPod touch is anyone using mobile broadband with their iTouch

Has anyone tried using Verizon or T-Mobile's mobile broadband to access the internet via 3G, EDGE, or WiFi?

I imagine it is something like purchasing a data plan for the iPad; however, you cant access it directly using your iTouch.

I haven't done a lot of research about it yet, I was just wondering if anyone has tried this or if it is possible.

you could use verizon's mifi but that would be through wifi, you can't access the broadband through 3g or edge.
