Is App Store down?

I am trying to download apps from the app store and right when I click the "Free" to download it looks like its about to start then immediately stops. Is this happening for anyone else?

I am having the exact same problem! Just now tried to download an app on my iPhone 5s. It almost went, even asked for my fingerprint, but then just goes back to FREE and never installs or even acts like it is going to install.

Working for me. Though it took a while for it to ask for my password

Can confirm it works fine. Just downloaded that Simpson's Tapped Out game for testing purposes and all is well. Try restarting your phone.

BTW, what the hell kind of game gives you 112 updates upon installing and opening it for the first time. -_-

it freaken works fine now...Apple needs to really fix their servers.

There status page at this time is showing a problem. Weird. The app I was trying to get just downloaded. So maybe they have fixed the issue.

Thats odd, when I was having my issue that status page said it was fine. meh

I love that apple puts this up so we all know if there is an issue. It's great I think. Apple has been having issues all day

I've been having issues more or less for the past week with the update badge showing updates, but the update page showing "OPEN" buttons instead of "UPDATE".
