I know that Assurion doesn't have the best reputation at least from what little I've read but the two times ever using them were good experiences. I just read how much Apple Care + cost and more so if you add lost or stolen. Whats.your take ? I just signed up our 12 and 12 pro max to Assurion via tmobile. I rarely ever get that kind of damage to my phones but I have lost two phones in the past. I some times go naked on certain devices like the iPhone X, Ipbone 11 Pro Max.etc.

For me the peace of mind of going through Apple is worth the extra cost. Additionally you get tech support from Apple beyond the first year of purchase if you have AppleCare+, and that should be factored into the cost of it as well.

Same here, I had ATT's insurance, and I put in my devices when I had the plan, and it didn't cover the screen. I'll gladly pay the extra to Apple.

I've had multiple devices repaired or replaced by Apple with absolutely no hassle. If you use their support it is a bargain, if you consider a single support call can run $30 or more with some vendors.
