Hello,

I am wondering... For those iPhone users who don't read the news at all, how do they know how to use the new features on iOS 16?

I haven't seen any indication of Lock Screen features for instance.

What do you think?

I think they're relying on people going to the Tips app (and I think iOS usually prompts you to check out new features in the Tips app on occasion).

Whether people do use the Tips app or not (and whether they've deleted it) is another matter, though!

I don’t know anyone who uses the Lockscreen features until I pointed out that u can long press on the lockscreen to make changes XY. My BF is one of those people that get annoyed by changes. While I get excited to see app updates, he’s like UGH AGAIN BUT I JUST UPDATED.

Or type apple.com/ios (and save it as a favorite) to get the Overview and (using the dropdown on that page) the All New Features (and it's a long list!). If you save that page, you'll be able to use it for new releases too.

Or in the Books app, search for iPhone Guide.
