Looking on the USA Apple website at their cases it seems like we have a choice between two Apple cases. They have a silicone case in a variety of colors or a clear polycarbonate case. Everything else seems to be gone. It seems like they’re mostly selling other brands of cases. If Apple getting out of the phone case market I find that quite curious because the profit margin on phone cases is ludicrous.

They discontinued their leather cases then came out with woven cloth cases. Everyone knows how that went. Was Apple so embarrassed they decided phone cases wasn’t their strong suit?

Maybe they’re coming out with more cases when the iPhone 17 comes out in October?

The other possible answer is they think everyone will be satisfied with one of the two current options.

Please leave a comment to what you think is going on or even what you think they should do. I’ve always felt. Apple cases were expensive for what you received. I would be more than willing to spend $100 or more if it was a premium case. I’ve had the Apple silicone case and it fell apart. It did provide protection for my phone so I’ll give it that.

They won't stop making the silicone ones. Those are cheap and a great way to sell an add on especially when you're in the store already.
