Is apple music app buggy for syncing ?

I have all my music stored on NAS drive which is connected to my mac mini using ethernet.

i was trying to transfer some 50 albums to my iPhone 5s using iTunes but it seems temperamental. when i drag the folder over to iTunes then over to iPhone tab then press the sync icon, it seems to miss out some albums or even some tracks from them. All music is in mp3 format.

Am i doing something wrong ?
