Is Apple planning to let Mac fans change system fonts?

I heard that was in the works for the next Apple OS. Even though, theres probably going to be a wait because El Capitan was released not too long ago.

We will find out August when Apple announce 10.12 I hope so as would like the option available.

No, Apple historically locks down the system and while OS X is more "open" then iOS, Apple is still very controlling.

Agreed with maflynn above.

There once was a time when users could easily do this.

As OS X has matured, it seems to have become Apple's specific policy to NOT let end users do this, even with hacks...
