is apple still signing 5.0.1?

I for one, am really surprised that they're still signing it. I expected them to release the patch within a week of absenthes release, but boy was I wrong.
Guess they were too busy getting the next iPad ready for prime time to deal with it.

as absinthe is using 4 or 5 different exploits including the backup function from itunes its not that simple.
Why are you surprised?
Apple never stop signing the current firmware unless they have released a new one.
Simply fixing the racoon binary would patch absinthe and the current 5.0.1 untether.
Apple's been quick to the punch to roll out new firmware & patch previous jailbreaks. I just figured they would have went after absinthe more aggressively.
Actually absinthe is based on the corona explot, the absinthe part is needed to insert the package in the 4S and iPad2.
Corona is already patched in 5.1.
My guess is that 5.1 will come out after the march 7th eevent.
