I’m about to sell my Mini-PC and buy a brand new M1 Mac Mini. I’ve read a lot about the Bluetooth issues and I was wondering if these have been fixed on Big Sur 11.2?

I’m looking to connect the Mac Mini to my 55 inch 4K Samsung QLED TV. Does the Mac have any issues when using this kind of setup?

Thanks in advance!

I'm still having issues from time to time especially with my logitech keyboard. Sometimes logging off and logging back on would fix it. But today nothing fixed it.

They are for me, both my Logitech MX Keys and MX Master 3 mouse work fine. The one issue I do have is waking my mini from sleep, can't seem to do it with my Logitech kb/mouse or trackpad, have to use a wired kb to wake the mini.

On 11.2.1, I still have a minor issue with a version 1 trackpad. 98% of the time it's fine but then it will suddenly become unresponsive and/or stuttering, just for maybe 10 or so seconds. Annoying more than anything else.

I predict that bluetooth is NEVER really going to be "fixed" so long as the Mini retains its current form factor.

There are just too many other "signals" getting in the way of the bluetooth signal.

I don't use bluetooth, but...
If I did, and...
If I was having problems...
Then... I'd get an EXTERNAL 3rd party USB/bluetooth module and a 3' USB3 "extension cord", and locate my bluetooth transmitter/receiver AWAY FROM the body of the Mini...

For the record, 11.2.1 changed a lot of files from the Bluetooth subsystem in the system partition. So if you haven't installed this update, you should to see if it resolves your Bluetooth problems.

Apple was a bit misleading saying this was an update to fix a charging issue; it might have led to people not installing it if they weren't having that problem. So do install it if you're having Bluetooth problems.

The update seemed to help somewhat. Alas, from time to time, I still get a little sluggishness from the mouse movement. Tomorrow, I might purchase a dongle just for the Mac Mini.

I think they have an issue with the pcb itself....

seems hit or miss....
And why I am not an early adopter
