i just downloaded mac dvd ripper pro the free trail and i really loved it , now i am out of "free" rippers . i am debating of getting the paid version for 25 bucks ,
for those who have the paid version , any pros and cons about it ?

I bought the full version a while back. I like it for its simplicity. Like the others have said, Handbrake is free. $25 bucks is nothing, so if you trialed it and liked it then I'd just say go for it.

I think $25 is a small investment to make considering the amount of movies you're able to rip. HandBrake is free and wonderful though.

Don't rip DVD's. It is infantile tech with crappy interlacing, telecine conversion and bitmap subtitles. VERY MUCH CRAP. It was made for CRT and nothing else. DVD's should be burned in the LCD 24p capable era.
