^ LOL. Truth. At least these kids are doing something useful with their time. Imagine their potential as an adult.

I think Musclenerd and Bugout are also abet older But not by much. someday they all have girlfriends then children and bills to pay and the original Dev-Team will be gone. have to see who steps up to the plate.

you mean some day they will have too many computers and comic books and internet bills to pay...;)

Being in IT, sometimes these wiz kids are tough to employ once they're in the read world. They often don't follow policies, procedures, etc., that you have to have in place for a real business. If they do properly harness their talent, though, it's something.

This is not too surprising :D If software is going to be in your future you have to start young. Same thing with me, although I was nowhere near as talented as these important people when I was that young.

I'd say that's because they have the entrepreneurial spirit instead. That type of personality doesn't usually work well for others.

lets put it this way. Hackers bend the rules. You hire a hacker, that is what you get :)

Yeah, it really doenst surprise me one bit these guys are young. Its amazing how much this generation can do with computers. Its almost effortless. Like my 13 month old daughter being into shoes and purses, its hardwired I think...

Looks like no one here is actually as well informed as they think they are.

He's 18. He said that saurik was wrong after the surfacing of the interview on Twitter.

"Properly harness talent"??

what a bunch of malarkey!

Most IT departments I know of are headed by older people who are so resistant to change most of the stuff they do is already obsolete. Procedures that these wiz kids don't follow rarely are practical or make sense. Lets PLEASE hope these guys do something more productive with their talents than joining some IT department somewhere.

That's why I laugh whenever people suggest that Apple should hire these guys to shore up their operating systems.

I read somewhere awhile back that the average age of the dev-team is 32.

I'm not going to say they should or shouldn't, but Steve Wozniak had basically the same hacker mentality when he cofounded Apple.

Right. But he helped found the company - he didn't go work for somebody else. Guys with this kind of spirit usually prefer to work for themselves instead of working for the man.
