Is compiz avaible for OS X v10.8?

I was hoping their was a version that is compatible with OS X. Does anyone know of any software apps out there that provide the Desktop cube effect. I'm having a hard time accessing that site above to find out if there is. I know this is a Ubuntu plug-in but I've heard it's runnable on OS X. However, I have yet to find the source or download link.

Here is the 3D Desktop cube in action if someone needs clarification. You'll need to skip to 1:40 in the video to see the full effect. If anyone has some information that may be of help let me know.

Check this out: http://totalspaces.binaryage.com It has a cube transition effect. Mac uses Aqua, instead of the X Window system, so no support for Compiz.
