I'm lamenting the lack of Smart Keyboard Folio for the new iPads. I've seen a few rumors that the existing 11-inch SKF will still fit the new M2 iPad Air 11 inch. Can anyone out there confirm? I don't need a trackpad or to spend the extra $$ on the Magic Keyboard.

Someone on Reddit says their new 11” iPad Air M2 (i.e. the new Air) fits the keyboard folio from their old 11” iPad Pro M1 (3rd gen, where current is 5th gen).

I have no reason to disbelieve it, as I have also read the same thing about iPad Air 5th Gen the new M2 (6th gen) fitting the same case, which implies that the new Air will fit the SKF of the previous Air.

Not sure if this is true of the SKF of the 12.9” Pro and the new 13” iPad Air M2.

Update: I bought my wife and 9 y.o. daughter iPad Air M2s with the Smart Folio Keyboard, and it works brilliantly. ✌️
