I'm excited about the upcoming 16" MacBook Pro. I am currently using an eGPU on a 2017 MacBook Pro 13" for light gaming. It's a Razer Core X Chroma with Radeon 64.

I'd love to simplify my setup so I'm hoping the new 16" MacBook Pro has a dGPU upgrade with enough power for casual gaming in Boot Camp without the fuss associated with an eGPU. The current Vega 20 is just OK for this purpose and I could possibly get away with it, but would be thrilled to see an upgrade on the Vega 20.

Anyone think we might see a more powerful dGPU option on the new 16" MacBook Pro?

If there are any upgrades to the MBP line at all this fall, a new GPU is a given. It just wouldn’t make any sense to do any upgrades at all otherwise.
