Is dictation worse for anyone else?

Ever since upgrading to iOS 16 dictation is far less reliable than it was on 15 and earlier. I am constantly having to go back and rewrite sentences because Siri thinks that I said wildly wrong words. Anyone else?

PS: is there anyway to revert to the previous behavior where the microphone DIDN’T stay on?

Loads of comments about this already, and yes, unfortunately, seems to be worse for everyone, including their abortion of autopunctuation implementation.

Yet another complete cluster **** from Apple...the list keeps growing.

And no there is no way to revert back AFAIK.
