I have a Gigabyte HD 7970 in my Mac Pro 5,1. It was flashed by macvidcards.com. Is it possible to use the displayport to run audio to my monitor? The 7970 is DisplayPort 1.2, I am using a DP 1.2 cable, and my monitor (LG 34UC88) is also Displayport 1.2 capable. In System Preferences->Sound I do not see the 7970 (or monitor) listed as audio outputs. I am using the drivers built into El Capitan.
