So I have a wireless charging pad and wireless charging battery pack for my iPhone 11p. I find them more convenient then hunting for a cable in the dark, or taking a cable with me on the go, but looking forward to jumping in on the MagSafe life with the 13p.

I was wondering if I could DIY MagSafe-ize them if I buy those MagSafe sticker things off of Amazon. All the pictures for those depict them going on the actual phone but I’m more interested in them going on the accessories. I figure why collect more stuff by swapping them out when I could in theory just convert them with some adhesive magnets.

My concern is whether that would be safe or not. Would a magnet potentially screw up currents or something. I’m thinking probably not since the iPhone 12 would in theory be compatible with them and that has a magnet, but wanted to double check. The internet is shockingly scarce on this.

Wouldn’t the polarity be opposite of what you need if you stuck it to the accessory side? Or are you going to use your own double side tape?

Any new info on this one? I'd like to add one of those stickers to a case I have.

We have developed several magsafe products in past few months.

There are 3 options you can modify your phone into magsafe compatible.
1.Stick a circular magnets in back your phone or case.

2.Simply stick a circular metal
(A metal piece will potentially destroy your wireless charging, you have to put it in the just right place, not even 1mm deviation. wireless charging will heat your phone up if you put the metal on wrong place.)

3.Buy a magsafe case for you phone
(Doubt there is any, I haven't seen any magsafe case for phones other than 12/13.)
