Hey All,

I have recently upgraded my early 2011 MBP and was wondering if the old RAM can go in my girlfriends mid 2009 MBP. Is it possible and is it worth it. From what i can find the 2009 supports 1033mhz and the 2011 is 1333mhz. I know my way around a mac, but RAM isn't really my game. Any help would be great

The newer RAM should work in the 2009 MBP. It's physically compatible (204-pin SO-DIMM) and should usually down-clock to 1033MHz automatically (or rather: work at that lower frequency).
