Is Encrypted Time Machine backup Safe w/ 3rd Party

Hello
I am working on a project with some people on a 'bring your own machine' basis. However, they are asking me to back up my machine to their Time Machine (the router made by Apple), "in case something happens on site and you can get back to business quicker". Since I'm using my personal Macbook I am a bit iffy about it, but if I encrypt the back up there's no way they can access my personal data correct?

Correct.... if you turn on Time Machine encryption, your backup set will be locked inside an encrypted sparse bundle image on their Time Capsule.
