I am looking to pick up a Mac Pro when the next revision comes out and I want to know if i should bother going up to 8 cores or just stick with 4. If FCP won't use 8 for rendering then I won't bother getting them. Also if it does use the 8, has anyone seen benchmarks that can show you how much faster they are at video rendering?
