I received a job opportunity through a company called Flexon Technologies, also know as Tata Consulting Services, for Apple's Cupertino office. It seems like a good opportunity and seems legitimate, but there are some flags that made me want to reach out to Apple directly and verify. I tried calling the office but I could only get through to tech support, not HR.

I did several interviews, mostly with the recruiters themselves, and two different ones with gentlemen with apple emails. It was done through the Webex app which had the apple.com address.

However, the flags that make me question it are such: They are saying it's Apple policy to do an unpaid probationary period for one month. I'm also not entirely sure if I even will be working for Apple or just for them as a consultant, and it has the danger of being a bait and switch, in which I show up and they say "Oh the Apple job fell through but, we got another, less prestigious job you can do, instead."

Sorry if this forum is not the right place to ask. I saw other employment questions here and just need some advice.
