Is google friends with apple & MS ?

Just wondering if google are friends with apple & MS?

I'm a 'google play music' subscriber and their play.google.com - My library wouldn't allow me to change album art on

Windows explorer Windows 7

only Chrome W7 worked.

Just thought it was a bit strange. Are google trying to ring fence their music service to point users towards chrome?

I actually prefer Safari for El Cap.
