Is iChat included in Mac OS X Tiger?

Hi all,

I read on apple site leopard is having iChat, and i dont know if its also in Tiger.

If so, how does it work? I hate AIM.

Yes it is included and it works pretty well too.

iChat is also in Leopard, but it has some improvements.

You set it up just like any IM thing. You can chat with AIM people, but only do video with people on iChat. I strongly recommend Adium, as you can chat with people on AIM, Yahoo!, MSN and others...

No, sadly. That's the one thing people are crying out for with Adium, and the developers have been saying it's coming for quite a while.

However, on OS X there are other MSN clients. For example, aMSN and Mercury both support webcam. However, they aren't as 'nice' as Adium. Mercury is the most functional as aMSN is very slooooooow. I use aMSN for webcam stuff though...

The biggest one for me is screen control...no more dodgy 3rd party VNC thingy...
