I got my replacement iPhone today and i wanted to compare the geekbench score on 4.3.3 and 5 beta 2.

the first thing i did was install geekbench clean out background applications and clear out memory and then ran the test. 4.3.3 gave me a score on 368 and did the same with iOS 5 beta 2 and i got a score 380.

So did apple optimize iOS 5 on iPhone 4?

I more think Apple is optimizing processing, it's not specifically faster on your iPhone 4 but probably on any iDevice.
