Is iOS 6 faster than iOS 7 on iPhone 5?

I just bought the iPhone 5 .. I than installed the iOS 7 beta. I installed it on my iPhone 4 and it was super slow. Because I am new to the iPhone 5 and only used it for like 2 seconds before installing the beta, I was wondering which one is faster? Do any of you notice a difference in speed. Yes guys, I am aware this is a beta..just wanted to know the difference in speed since I only had my iPhone 5 for a matter of seconds Thanks

In some areas, iOS 7 is slower on my iPhone 5 than iOS 6 was. In most areas, I don't notice the difference.

As a general rule iOS 6 is faster because it is a final version. iOS 7 is a huge beta. Although there are still some areas that 7 excels in.

I would say they are about the same. The new animations take a wee but longer which may make ios7 seem like its slower.

Ok thanks, I personally don't find any huge lags or anything. Its still pretty fast considering I came from an iPhone 4...Another question!!! Does anyone else have new mail NOT pushing to them?? I have everything set in the settings...its not coming through..weird!

Mail will not push if you are on a GMAIL account.
