iPhone 13 Pro Max Is iPhone 13 Face ID less accurate than 12?

I have an iPhone 13 Pro Max. I was using an iPhone 12 Pro Max before this, and then an iPhone 11 Pro before that. Face ID on my iPhone 13 Pro Max fails more frequently than on my previous phones. I have an alternate appearance set up. Has anyone else noticed this on their new iPhone?

It’s because you had to start the facial recognition learning over since that’s securely stored locally. Give it time, it’ll improve the more you use your new phone.

The 13 pro is way better then my 12 was it's super quick and works every time.

I have noticed that sometimes when I raise the phone to unlock it, the pass key screen will come up briefly followed by FaceID unlocking the phone. Other then that, FaceID is incredibly quick and accurate.
