Is iPhone 3G capable of playing the same games as the iPod touch 2G?

The title says it all... I just want to know, as I have placed an order for the iPhone.

And I saw at the Let's Rock event that the new iPod touch can play many cool games

the iPhone, iPhone 3G and iPod touch 1+2G can all play the same games

The following can all play the same games:

- iPhone 2G (1st gen)
- iPhone 3G (2nd gen)
- iPod Touch 1st Gen
- iPod Touch 2nd Gen

However some games that are better with a speaker will be affected with the iPod Touch 1st Gen as it is the only one without a speaker (headphones work though).
