Bell, Rogers and Telus all have "HSPA+" ...but all of the phones show 3G when running.

Do you think the 4G will have a true HSPA connection?

HSPA+ is still considered 3G. I'm guessing there won't be a different indicator to show this.

Edit:
3G supports 3.6Mbps
3Gs supports 7.2Mbps
(neither HSPA+)

HSPA+ is still considered 3G. AFAIK, there's no different indicator for HSPA+.

Also, the 3G doesn't support HSPA+, the 3Gs does.

my blackberry 9700 supports HSPA+ , and it says on my bill my network choice is HSPA+ but it shows 3G on my phone and my browser loading speeds definitely are not HSPA advertised
